There Will Be Dancing In The Streets Of Raith As A Result Of This Budget

The Chancellor, Mr Gordon Brown, is not famed for his levity. But did I detect the ghost of a smile as he announced that there was to be no increase in duty on Champagne "in anticipation of World Cup success this summer"?

I could not beleive when the reply from the leader of the SNP was cut short when the BBC interveiwer chose instead to see a cartoonist.
This is typical of the media trivialising of things. I am more concerned that he is selling off 30 billion in National Assets to fund the debt. Then the cupboard will be bare
